Kitchen countertops, choose from a variety of gemstones, and enjoy a quality life.

The kitchen countertop is crucial for protection during the intense kitchen battles. While seemingly unassuming and not the main focus, it's the surface that comes into most frequent contact with food. The choice of countertop material directly impacts the ease of daily cleaning and can even affect your dietary health. Some say that stone countertops emit radiation, which is bad for your health. Yet, when it comes to renovations, 90% of people still choose stone countertops. Why is that?

I. Stainless Steel Countertops

Stainless steel countertops are generally made by adding a thin layer of stainless steel to a high-density fire-resistant board. Stainless steel countertops come in three finishes: embossed, brushed, and mirrored. They are hard, heat-resistant, have a long lifespan, and are not easily deformed.

However, installation is prone to problems, especially in the edges and corners, which are easily scratched. Furthermore, once scratched, they are difficult to repair, leading to rust and dirt accumulation.

II. Fire-Resistant Board Countertops

While fire-resistant board countertops offer the best aesthetic appeal and are fire-resistant, moisture-proof, wear-resistant, and easy to clean... However, most fireproof countertops manufactured domestically are made of low-priced MDF (medium-density fiberboard), which cannot guarantee either performance or environmental friendliness. These countertops are easily eroded by water, and over time, they may warp and delaminate. Furthermore, the splicing technique is poor, leading to gaps that easily trap dirt, turn black, and mold.

III. (Marble, Granite, Jade) Countertops: Countertops made from natural stone are hard, cut-resistant, wear-resistant, and heat-resistant. They have natural stone textures and a natural feel, suitable for sophisticated kitchen styles.

However, they require cutting and splicing, resulting in noticeable seams that easily trap dirt and grime, showing signs of wear over time. Their excessive hardness also makes them irreparable once damaged.

IV. Artificial Stone Countertops: Artificial stone countertops are currently recognized in the home improvement market as the most cost-effective kitchen countertop option, considered an ideal alternative to natural marble.

Artificial stone countertops come in three types: resin boards, composite acrylic boards, and pure acrylic boards. Compared to other materials, artificial stone is highly wear-resistant, heat-resistant, and impermeable, allowing for seamless splicing and easier cleaning.

V. Quartz Stone Countertops Quartz stone countertops are extremely wear-resistant and heat-resistant. Furthermore, they are exceptionally hard; even direct scratching with a knife will not leave any marks. Cleaning is also very convenient, requiring only wiping with water, and their lifespan can reach decades.
